Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses synapcyte. It supplements our Terms of Service. Using the Platform means agreeing to these rules.
Do not
- Break the law, or use the Platform to facilitate illegal activity.
- Misuse or disclose confidential information you receive under a project NDA for any purpose other than evaluating or performing that project.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent projects, proposals, credentials, or organization information.
- Circumvent the Platform to solicit users for unrelated purposes, spam, or harvest other users’ information.
- Upload malware, or content that infringes intellectual property or violates the privacy or rights of others.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or synapcyte staff.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems; probe or test for vulnerabilities without permission; or interfere with normal operation (including automated scraping or overloading the service).
- Request or perform services that are dangerous, unethical, or prohibited by law or regulation.
Research responsibility
Buyers and providers are solely responsible for ensuring that any research services arranged through the Platform comply with all applicable laws, regulations, institutional policies, and ethical and safety standards, including any required approvals, licenses, biosafety, and export controls.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate this policy or put the Platform or its users at risk. Serious violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
